Relevant Radio Debuts New Program on WDCR
Green Bay, Wisconsin, Oct 19, (RR)
Michael Kendall, Chief Programming Officer of Relevant Radio®, is pleased to announce the launch of a new program ― ”Daybreak” on Monday, October 24, 2011 at 5 am Central Time. Daybreak is a fresh, upbeat approach to morning prayer and devotions. Host Paul Sadek offers daily spiritual reflections to assist you as your day begins, including the Office of Readings, morning prayer, a teaching from the Holy Father, and more.
The program will also feature readings from the series In Conversation With God by author Francis Fernandez-Carvajal, which makes generous use of the writings of our great saints. These daily meditations on themes taken from the Mass readings for that day and the liturgical season will give listeners an inspirational start to their day.
Host Paul Sadek has been a member of the Relevant Radio team since 2003, assisting with the oversight of Relevant Radio stations in Minneapolis, Eau Claire, and La Crosse, along with local and network production, and on-air hosting of local programs. Prior to Relevant Radio, he worked in various capacities at radio and television stations in Minnesota, Iowa, and South Dakota. Paul is an adult convert to the Catholic faith, received into full communion by profession of faith in 1978.
Daybreak can be heard at 5am Central Time Monday through Friday on WDCR FM 88.9 Catholic Radio for Macon County.
